Christian Education

Our Christian Education programs invite people of all ages to participate in the ministries and missions of Christian faith.  These programs include Sunday church school, learning center events, adult education opportunities, second hour activities (following Sunday worship), youth fellowship and service programs, and confirmation instruction for ninth graders.

Church School

Church school is offered Sunday mornings to children ages preschool through grade 8.  Child care is available for infants, babies, and toddlers in the Crib and Toddler Rooms. 

 In September, 2007, we developed our own Rotation Workshops for our church school classes.  This gives children the opportunity to learn the same "concept" 4-5 weeks in a row, experiencing a different teaching method each week.  Children rotate from the science room, to the art room, to the theater, etc until the unit is completed.  Most units begin with a Chapel Sunday, where the children meet the character or learn about the Bible story we are about to study.

Children generally begin their Sunday morning in worship with their families and leave for church school at a designated time.
