Our Christian Education programs invite people of all ages to participate in the ministries and missions of Christian faith. These programs include Sunday church school, learning center events, adult education opportunities, second hour activities (following Sunday worship), youth fellowship and service programs, and confirmation instruction for ninth graders.
Church School is offered Sunday mornings, from September through mid June, for children ages kindergarten through grade 8. Children generally begin their Sunday morning in Worship with their families, and leave for church school at a designated time. Child care is available for infants, toddlers and preschoolers in our Toddler Room.
During our 2017-2018 program year, our Sunday School students will be learning about parts of the worship service and the scripture lesson being read each Sunday. They will bring a letter home to their parents/guardians that day with questions and possible discussion topics that will promote conversation between the adults and the youth. Those young people are pretty insightful!
LENTEN MISSION PROJECT
The church school students would like to invite the congregation to join them in a Lenten Mission project. We will be gathering items for overseas packages for Active Duty Military Troops. A list of the items and a collection box is in the narthex. Food items like tuna, snack bars, trail mix, coffee and tea; personal care items like toothpaste, floss, deodorant and lip balm; and other items like batteries, playing cards and puzzles, can all be used. Thank you in advance for your help!
Save the Date! Vacation Bible Camp will return this summer for the week of July 9th – 13th, 9 am – noon. More information will follow.

If you are a senior in high school or attending college, please see me if you would like further information.
Thank you to all who supported this collection. Over 130 cans of soup were collected, along with other assorted grocery items. Thank you to everyone for your generous contributions!
CALLING MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLERS
I am hoping to schedule some “outside of church” activities for our middle/high schoolers. A short brainstorming session was held recently to get some ideas of areas of interest. Events will be posted here, in the newsletter and in the Sunday bulletin. Sharon Chamberlain
